Hello! I am T. C. Maloney, known as Tom to family and friends. I am a ‘Born Again’ Christian since Good Friday 1999. My wife and I live near St. Louis, Missouri. We grew up in the area and went to high school together. We moved back a few years ago to be closer to family. We have previously lived in Chicago, the Norfolk, Virginia area, Gainesville, Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama. We have children and grand-children in Florida, Chicago and here in St. Louis.
United States Military Veteran
For most of my adult life I have served in the U.S. military, both in the Air Force and the Navy, which partially accounts for the many places we have lived. I ended my working career as an accountant. I am now retired.
The Call To Write
Way back in 2005, while taking care of my one-year-old grandson, I felt the call to write a book on personal finances. It took ten years to get that first book researched, written and published and by then the idea for two more books was rolling around in my head. The next two went much faster and both of them were published by mid-2017. Since then, Second Editions have been published. The three are known as The Truth Trilogy.
Life Meant To Be Lived With Joy And Peace
The Truth Trilogy books have a similar theme: That life is meant to be lived with joy and peace. These two elusive qualities can be found – can be made your own – by observing Truths that are intended to make life more successful, joyful and peaceful. Take money, for example: almost everyone would agree that we need to live within our means, yet many of us do not and problems develop, sometimes very serious problems. My original thought was that because everyone has at least some familiarity with money, “The Truth About Money” should be the first book and then we would build on that by introducing Natural Laws and then God. In retrospect, perhaps “The Truth About God” should have been the first as it is easily the most important of The Truth Trilogy because of its eternal implications.
Website And Blog Speaks Truth
It is my intention to use the Blog to post thoughts and ideas I think you might be interested in and to invite you to make comments. The website will support this concept and showcase the books, including how you can purchase them.
I look forward to talking with you.
