Joy, Peace and Contentment

Joy, Peace and Contentment are available to all of us, sought by most, found by many in varying degrees and achieved in a life-altering way by a few. The sub-titles of The Truth Trilogy books offer you Joy and Peace. If you will read the books and seriously consider making the ideas and suggestions part of your daily life, you can find these elusive qualities; although they are most easily found when you are not looking for them. These qualities are by-products. For example, if you desire peace with your personal finances, you are most likely to find it by living within your means and eliminating debt. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. True, life-altering Joy, Peace and Contentment can only be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I would urge you to read the following from Paul’s (St. Paul’s) Letter to the Philippians:

“Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:11-13)

This looks like a good time to mention that all Scripture Verses, unless otherwise noted, are from the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible.

Truth Trilogy Books and Blog

This website has been developed with two thoughts in mind. The first is to provide a platform for The Truth Trilogy books. For about the price of a cup of coffee, you can access each of these books and hopefully enjoy them and maybe learn something.  All three provide useful, even critical information. The first two, “The Truth About Money” and “The Truth About Natural Laws” will help you while you are here on planet Earth. “The Truth About God” will help you live a better life here while preparing you for an Eternity with Jesus Christ.

Secondly this website comes with a Blog with which I hope to enter into discussions with you. In writing The Truth Trilogy, which started in 2005, I have done substantial research and I will share some of this with you; as an example, do you know that collectivists and socialists have been instrumental in the design and development of our public school system, going all the way back to the 19th century? How did that happen?

God’s Truth is Absolute

As the title implies my goal with this website is to consider with you, the Truth. We will put most of our attention on God’s Truth. He has given us an entire book of His Truths; all of which still apply. His Word – His Truth never expires, even when it is not popular. If you have been taught that the idea of good and evil is outdated and does not exist in the modern world, you have been misled. There is such a thing as right and wrong; rules or laws do exist that differentiates between good and bad behavior. Absolute Truth does exist. God’s Truth is Absolute!

God, Our Creator, Provided Natural Laws and Instincts Necessary for Survival 

God created the earth and everything in or on the earth, including you and I. He embedded the earth and all its creatures with natural laws or rules and instincts necessary for survival. such things as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west and the tilt of the earth in relation to the Sun, spring following winter, summer following spring and so on. These are absolute truths and there are many examples in our natural world; in fact, it is not too much of a stretch to say that our natural world operates almost exclusively on Natural Laws, rules that determines how things work on earth.

Human Beings Created In God’s Image With Free Will

That is except for human beings, whom God created with free will. We have free will because God created us in His image, which includes the ability to think and reason, exercise free will and make decisions. Each human being also comes with a soul which will live forever and includes a yearning for God and a conscience. You see, God created us to be able to live with Him in Eternity; to have a relationship with Him; to freely choose to obey Him and have fellowship with Him. God’s plan for us has been consistent and included the crucifixion, death and resurrection of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ two thousand years ago, paying the penalty for our Sins. Jesus lives today.

God’s Desire for Us is to Love Him and Desire a Loving Relationship With Him

 Right from the beginning, God’s desire for us has always been that with our free will, we would desire to love God and have a loving relationship with Him. God knew that creating us with free will would allow us to disobey His Laws or Commandments. He also knew mankind would become so arrogant as to think His rules do not apply to us. That’s where we are now and is the reason for The Truth Trilogy books – this is not a new development.

We have a Natural Yearning for God   

That yearning for God I mentioned is also known as the ‘God-hole’ and explains why some people – many people, worship false gods. These false gods can be money, power, fame, sex, alcohol, drugs, even children or pets. Anything you esteem more than the One True God is the god you are worshipping and it is a sin against God. It is a misapplication of the God-hole and violates God’s Law. That conscience I spoke of is intended to help us know Right from Wrong. It works beautifully, but is no match for Free Will. 

God is Omniscient – You cannot Hide from God

God, of course, knew all this when He created us. God is omniscient. He knows everything. God is all knowing. He knows each of us intimately. There is no hiding from God.

Quote from Pope Benedict XVI

Following is a quote from a speech given by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger to the College of Cardinals; at the Vatican Basilica on April 18, 2005 (this was shortly before Cardinal Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI) “Today, having a clear faith based on the Creed of the Church is often labeled as fundamentalism. Whereas relativism, that is, letting oneself be “tossed here and there, carried about by every wind of doctrine”, seems the only attitude that can cope with modern times. We are building a dictatorship of relativism that does not recognize anything as definitive and whose ultimate goal consists solely of one’s own ego and desires.” Cardinal Ratzinger was speaking out on what he considered Western Civilization’s most serious problem: Moral Relativism.

We Have Turned Our Backs On God – We Need to Return to Moral Living

Our society is in deep trouble and we need to return to moral living – that would be in accordance with God’s righteousness. That is what The Truth Trilogy books are all about. From Money to Natural Laws to God there are rules or Natural Laws for human behavior. These rules or laws exist to give us a framework for living in accordance with our Creator’s will.  Truth originates with God. God’s Word, the Holy Bible, is Truth.

Author’s Note: A major event occurred in my life on Good Friday 1999. I became a Born-Again Christian and my life has changed tremendously since then. We will talk more about this in the future, but the primary change has been from knowing who Jesus is in my head to accepting Him in my heart as my Lord and Personal Savior.
