Gospels of Matthew & Luke Chapters 1 & 2
The first two Chapters of both Matthew and Luke’s Gospel provide us with everything we know about Jesus’ conception, birth and His early life. This is where we learn about His Mother Mary who appears sporadically throughout the New Testament.
Mary and Joseph Introduced
Also in these Chapters we meet Joseph, Jesus’ step-father; after these Chapters, Joseph is not heard of again.
