Greatest Commandment

Millions of Americans Witness Miracle

This past Saturday, we witnessed another miracle! Millions of Americans watched, on live television, as God intervened to save the life of President Donald J. Trump! A slight turning of his head, a divine intervention, kept Mr. Trump alive. If you do not believe this, I suggest you get on your knees and ask God to save you from your unbelief; while on your knees, ask for an extra dose of Love to soften your hardened heart!

Return To Judeo-Christian Principles

It is sad and unfortunate that it takes a miracle to prevent one American from killing another; especially given our founding upon Judeo-Christian principles based upon the Word of God.

Love God and Neighbor

Jesus’ teachings emphasize ‘love’ for our Heavenly Father and one another:

Matthew 22:35-40

From Matthew’s Gospel: “Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Mark 12:28-34

And Mark’s: “Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, ‘Which is the first commandment of all?’ Jesus answered him, ‘The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” But after that no one dared question Him.”

Commandments-100%-Love Your Neighbor

Please read these verses closely, taking note of three requirements: (1) These are not optional – Commandments and (2) with ALL your heart, soul, mind and strength Lukewarm will not get it done and (3) who is your neighbor? Everyone on earth!

Old Testament Roots

The Greatest Commandment has its foundation in the Old Testament:

Leviticus 19:18

“You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.”

Deuteronomy 6:4-5

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God; the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Righteousness is Always an Option

Our Society is suffering from an absence of God! We are created in God’s image and we are expected to live a ‘righteous’ life. That means being ‘right’ with God! Our County is broken and very divided: Democrats versus Republicans; Left versus Right; pro-choice versus pro-life plus other subjects dividing us. To me, it comes down to our belief in Jesus Christ! Are we going to accept Jesus as Lord and Personal Savior or do we reject Him? We have His teachings, His commandments, we have an entire book of God’s Law and history with the human race. It is actually very simple: Are you going to follow Jesus, submitting yourself to Him and His Father in Heaven or do you reject Him, going your own way? Each person must answer this question for him or herself.

Prayer – Love – Bible

If this is new to you and you do not know what to do; you can start by praying to God, love your neighbor and reading the Bible.
