God Is Omniscient

God knows everything and I mean EVERYTHING! To put it another way, there is nothing He does not know; He knows when you were born, when you will die and every individual activity or thought you have ever experienced or ever will experience. God knows each of us intimately. There is no hiding from God. Again, He knows EVERYTHING!

Psalm 130:1-8

“Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning – Yes, more than those who watch for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He shall redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

God Is Omnipotent

In addition to being Omniscient, God is also Omnipotent, which is the state of being All-Powerful. To my knowledge, no one on earth has ever seen the full, unbridled power of God; it is fair to say that tsunamis, thunder storms, tornadoes, and earthquakes exhibit just a very small part of God’s omnipotence.

Luke 1:37

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

God Is Omnipresent

God is also Omnipresent which means He is present everywhere at once. It is this characteristic which enables God to listen (or talk) to each of us individually, but simultaneously. This means God is always available to hear your prayers. When you have a need to talk to God, He will hear you! He will not always respond immediately, but you can be sure He has heard you!

Psalm 139:7-12

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,” Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.”

Uncomfortable? Seek Jesus!

If that makes you a bit uncomfortable, I understand; if you are not a Born Again follower of Jesus Christ it should make you nervous.
